Was Al-Zarqawi Beaten After Bombing?

Filed under: General Nonsense — Paul @ 10:27 am

Was Al-Zarqawi Beaten After Bombing? (Hat tip: Allahpundit.) So what if he was? U.S. soldiers would still be kinder to Zarqawi that he was to his victims. He's lucky he left this world without getting his head sawed off with a dull, rusty knife while bleeding from drill holes in his arms.

Like some jihadi victims.

Update: John Hinderaker of Powerline notes that

Zarqawi has achieved the most exalted status known to legacy journalism: he's a victim!

But a victim, apparently, who knew how to have a good time:

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was accompanied by women who wore skimpy night clothing, and read magazines on current affairs and militant propaganda, an inspection of the house he was killed in showed on Saturday. Also beside the slabs of concrete was a woman's leopard skin nightgown and other skimpy women's clothes.

What, no burkas?!?

Check out also John's criticism of the WaPo's "Bias? What Bias?" Zarqawi piece.
